Attach Counterpoint Reports
Dernière mise à jour il y a 3 jours

A CPMailer email can now carry a Counterpoint report as an attachment, such as the invoice register, alongside the CP2 blocks. Counterpoint produces the report each night and CP2 attaches the latest copy when the email goes out.

Setting it up

  1. Ask AMS to schedule the report. AMS sets up the report in Counterpoint to run each night and send its file to CP2. Tell us which reports you want and how often.
  2. Add the report to CP2. In Admin > CPMailer Attachment Definitions, add a row for each report: a short Code, the Name people will see, the Filename Counterpoint writes (for example BINRG.txt), an optional Description, and tick Active. AMS can do this for you.
  3. Attach it to an email. Create or edit a CPMailer report. Each active report appears as a checkbox on the form; tick the ones to attach and save.

What to expect

  • The email carries whatever file Counterpoint last sent. If the nightly run didn't happen, it carries the previous file, so check the date inside the report.
  • If there's no file at all when the email is sent, the email still goes out, without the attachment.
  • Untick Active to stop offering a report without deleting it. Emails that already attach it stop attaching it.

For the other blocks you can add to an email, see User Reports and CPMailer Email Reports for 2.0.
