Frequently Asked Question
Before You Call puts the three things worth knowing before you phone a customer at the top of their CounterCRM page. On a phone, you can then call them with one tap and log the call as soon as you hang up.
Before You Call
The panel opens with a chip for each list, for example "2 special orders · $368". Click Show details to see the lists behind them:
- Waiting on: special orders and back orders still open for the customer.
- Asked for, couldn't supply: lost sales recorded for them in the last 90 days.
- Buying more or less: the lines they're buying more or less of than a year ago.
It shows only what the rest of the customer page doesn't, so it's a quick read before you dial.
Calling from your phone
Phone numbers on the Call List, in Plan Visits, in a customer's contacts and on the Main Number tile can be tapped to call.
- Tap the number. Your phone opens its dialler with the number filled in.
- Make the call.
- Come back to CP2. The Log a call dialog opens for that customer, with the contact you called already picked.
- Add a note and a follow-up date if you need one, then save.
On a computer with no dialler, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen instead: Calling customer - Log this call. Click it once you've finished, or Not now to skip. A call you don't log within two hours is forgotten.
Logging the call takes the account off the Call List for 14 days, or until the follow-up date you set, and counts toward what your calls brought back. See Account Watch for how the Call List works.
