Frequently Asked Question

To send an order to modern sales via EDI, you must first be in your main menu. From your main menu, you should see a warehouse icon or a Modern Sales logo in the bottom button bar.

Depending on the button you see, there are 2 options:

1. Pressing the warehouse icon button will launch your warehouse/MSC menu. From here, you should see an 'Modern Sales' menu option. Once you select this, you will see a Send EDI P.O. menu option. 
2. Pressing the modern sales/autosense icon button you should be shown a Send P.O. To Autosense menu button

Pressing either of these menu options will present you with the following screen:

Key in the PO number you wish to send and you will be asked to confirm the that it is the correct PO

Once you have answered 'Y' to that question, you will be placed back in the p.o.number field. From here you can enter another PO, or press F1 to accept the current purchase order(s) and send them.

When accepting the send, the screen cursor will move to the bottom of the screen and flash in the center of the screen while the PO is sent. If there are any problems in the send, they will be displayed. If the send was successful, you will be brought back to the main menu.
