Setup

Within Counterpoint, you can enable the tracking of product serial numbers by category via the Category Maintenance screen, and modifying field 45 to a 'Y'

Once a category has it's serial number functionality activated, you will be prompted for a serial number both when selling product under that category as well as when receiving product.

Receiving

When receiving product, upon finalizing the process, you will be presented with the serial number entry screen.

Here, it is identified which product was received and for what quantity. Enter in the serial numbers of the products received. Once you enter in the equal number of serial numbers to the quantity received, you can accept the listing

Selling

Now, when you sell the product you will be prompted to select a serial serial number when accepting a line for a product where serial numbers apply. Selecting a serial number is required
